Description

The SNRS-1 supervisory switch is a special-purpose device designed for applications where conventional supervisory methods are not suitable or practical, such as with non-rising stem gate valves. When installed on a non-rising stem gate valve, turning the valve’s handwheel pulls the plug out of the switch, which activates the normally open contacts to indicate the valve position. For security and safety, the plug cannot be reinserted after activation unless the plug-reset cover is removed using the special hex key provided.
